| Come one, come all -- members, your spouses, your significant others, and your friends -- to the Annual THSCC Christmas Party and Year-End Awards Presentations, where you just might find yourself "laughing all the way"!!
Here's the scoop:
Cost: $5 per person + a covered dish
Who Brings What Food This Year (please bring a serving spoon/fork to serve your dish):
If your last name begins with A-L, please bring a non-dessert covered dish (baked beans, casseroles, breads, appetizers, etc.).
If your last name begins with M-Z, please bring a dessert.
What the Club Provides: Soft drinks, plates, napkins, etc. -- and, of course, Bowie's famous "dead birds"!
Dress: Yes, please! "Nice" dress is preferred, but not mandatory.
Bring some cash so you can buy a bunch of raffle tickets at the door! There are lots of good prizes including some THSCC "stuff", some free event entries, and some really nifty products from some of our very generous sponsors -- yes, you're gonna want these!
This is also a really great time to renew your membership for 2005! Remember that memberships run from January 1 to January 1.
Individual renewals are $25; couple/family renewals are $35. Also, in order to help save pennies to apply toward the ever-increasing costs of having fun, be aware that THSCC is moving to providing the Heel & Toe electronically in 2005.
We hope that the most of you will welcome the change to the e-Heel & Toe, but if you feel you absolutely must continue to receive a paper one in the mail, you will need to pay an additional $15 when you renew your membership to cover the cost of production and mailing.
Our always hard-working Registrars will be at the door taking your payments for the Christmas Party, raffle tickets, and your 2005 membership renewals. Please remember to bring small bills or a check with which to pay to help them out.
