Our first event of the year will again be held at our great
Four Oaks site near the junction of I-40 and I-95. For those
who have not yet been there, this is a very large field, flat
with almost no elevation change, and very smooth. This is
a great and safe site to give rallycrossing a try!
Again we will be allowing Street Tires
only in order to keep the course conditions fair
for everyone. Our Street
Tire definition is liberal enough that almost any all-season
car tire is acceptable. Note, however, that many truck and
SUV tires will still be deemed too aggressive. As
before, snow tires, rally tires, and other knobby tires are
explicitly excluded.
Remember, you will be spending
all day outside in early February, so please make sure you
are dressed adequately for the weather conditions.
On the bright side, Christine will again be
grilling hot dogs and hamburgers onsite, with meals for sale
(including drink, chips, and a dessert) available for a very
reasonable price!
Finally, and as always, please remember that we will be guests
on private property, and our good behavior everywhere on the
property, including the driveway/access road, is critical
to our continued use of this great site. Please help us make
this event a success!
