This is the homepage of the first THSCC website. On the morning of March 26,
1996, club member Art McDonald sent this page, and one other for event results,
to club member Tom Fulton. Later that same day, Tom posted the two pages to
his personal web space on his employer's web server and THSCC entered cyberspace!
Club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, January through November, at Ryan's Family Steak House, on the corner of Millbrook Rd. and Atlantic Ave. in Raleigh, N.C. Dinner starts at 7:00 P.M., and the meeting starts at 8:00 P.M.
Founded in 1964 in Wilson, N.C., THSCC is proud to be known as North Carolina's Premier Amateur Motorsports Organization !
THSCC's Autocross Champoinship series rules are based on the current SCCA Solo II rules. In addition to the classes defined by the SCCA, we have a special "Street Tire" class. (We define a "street tire" as any DOT-approved tire that has a treadwear rating of 140 or greater.) The PAX index is used to adjust times between cars that would normally compete in different Solo II classes.

is laid out on the concrete runways and taxiways of a WWII air base.
Popular with the high-horsepower crowd,

really challenges the driver's car control skills.
