is More", 2006 Points Autocross #4. Les
Davis and Walter Houston will be your event chairs. Hmmm, a
200+hp
Miata and a 400+hp Camaro….Ya think it’s going
to be fast? I think it’s safe to assume a fair number
of cones are going to be left on the bus.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Entry limit is currently 130 and MAY be
increased the morning of the event.
- If you plan on attending, MAKE SURE YOU PREREGISTER!!!
We all know what happened in Sanford last time. If you are reading
this….you
have access to preregister… DO IT! If you're preregistered and can't
attend, unpreregister yourself -- it's easy!
- Food will be served at this event by Christine Allen once again.
- Gates open at 7:30a.m. Sunday morning. -- There
will be a worker at the entry to the lot. You must stop here
and sign the waiver and receive your wristband.
- EVERYONE at the event, including visitors, must sign the insurance waiver upon arrival and wear a wristband.
- Pit and grid space may be tight so PLEASE park efficiently! There will be a family section in the pits marked off with cones. If you don’t have young ones with you…don’t park there.
- Novices - get to the site early!! Get your cars emptied and teched and have time for several course walks. Mandatory 9:30am Novice Meeting!
- Remember that minimum 8" tall car numbers are REQUIRED
and you will be pulled off of the start line for numbers that
are unreadable. You can PRINT THE LETTERS AND NUMBERS YOU NEED

If you are using paper letters/numbers, remember to bring masking or
painters tape to affix them to your car.
REMINDER: It's getting hot! So, bring LOTS OF WATER and any shade you can. UMBRELLAS WORK GREAT.
AT THE EVENT
We love Sanford and we get to use it because of lots of hard work. We want to keep it available for the club. So be sure YOU and YOUR FRIENDS are on YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR when on the event site.
- This means no fast driving anywhere but the autocross course itself.
- Pick up your trash AND the trash of others.
RUN GROUPS
- GROUP 1 = Stock, TIR, and X -- including NOV and LAD entries in those classes.
- GROUP 1 should grid cars BEFORE the driver's meeting.
- Remember to grid in lane A if you are working Heat 2.
