Tarheel is excited to be bringing you our first event at Dealers Auto Auction in Greenville! But, because this is our first event here, this event will be restricted to members only and to drivers who have previously run 5 or more events with Tarheel.
For those of you who will be attending, it is especially important that everyone be on your very best behavior. Our special guest will be the site owner and we definitely want to leave him with a good impression of Tarheel Sports Car Club!
Because of some serious concerns that have arisen with our sites about noise levels, effectively immediately, THSCC has implemented a new autocross rule to address decibel limits. The rule reads:
THSCC will have and enforce a 100 dB sound limit at all of our autocross and rallycross events. For some sites this limit may be reduced to 95 dB, which will be indicated in the event information. All cars are subject to being tested at any place on course, and measurements will be made at approximately 50 feet from the course. Any car which is found to be in excess of the sound limit will not be allowed to start any subsequent runs. This rule is necessary to preserve our relationship with our sites.

If you feel your vehicle may not pass this test, please either change it before you arrive at the site so that it will comply with the rule, or unpreregister from the event.
Other important information and reminders:
- Be sure to take home every scrap of trash you generate. And, if you see trash around that you didn't generate yourself, please still pick it up. It is important to leave this site spotless.
- Absolutely NO fooling around, donuts, tire warming, brake checking, etc., on site.
- If you have a jack board or something you can use for one, please bring it along and use it under your jack. Paving is expensive and the owner wants to keep the surface in good shape.
As a special treat, the owner has agreed to turn on the site lights to allow us to take fun runs after dark! The event will likely end close to the usual time, but fun runs (with or without some "interesting" twists) will go on into the evening. All participants must leave the site by 9:45pm.
