This will be an informal test of this site which will be run much the same way as the night series events.

Directions and pitting information: The site is located approx. 80 miles south of Raleigh. Just follow US1 South to the Rockingham Dragway (located across the road from the Raceway). Take the right that is across from the Raceway's press box and is before the Dragway's main office. We will be pitting behind the general admission grand stands. These are located on the far side of actual drag strip.

This is the first time at the site, so the course will caution on the side of safety. This does not mean it will be "tight". Rather, do not expect speeds of 70 mph.

Please plan to arrive early and stay through the event. Right now, attempts to exit the site will require stopping the event. The rest rooms and concession stand will be open for us.

We do reserve the right to stop the event and make any changes in support of the above.

Your suggestions concerning safety or course design are welcome before and during the event. Your suggestions and comments about the site are welcome; however, please meet with one of the Autocross VPs after the event for site suggestions and comments.

The Rockingham people are anxious for us to come and play. So, as always, be on your usual good behavior on and around the site since you represent Tarheel Sports Car Club. We remind you that:

• speed limit on the site is 5 MPH everywhere except on course,
• no tire warming will take place on the site,
• you should take home at least as much trash as you generate, and
• bring and consume plenty of liquids during the day.
